THE DIFFERENTIATION OF MOTIVATION ACCORDING TO DEMOGRAPHIC AND OCCUPATIONAL FACTORS :A STUDY ON TOURIST GUIDES

Tourist guides , plays a key role in the advancement of national and
regional aspects of the tourism industry . This vital significance of tour
guide makes it necessary for them to perform in the most qualified way . For
the best performance and qualified style in job; tourism management must present best services
to tour guide . At this point; One of the most important factor and
responsibility in the creation of purchase requests is tourist guide. If tourist guides love their job; this will
cause to provide benefit directly and indirectly related to all tourism parts
even the lowest one and It will contribute to sustainable development of
tourism. This study prepared for the aim
of determining the relations between Motivation and demographic and
occupational datas. In this research, the survey technique was used and Data
were analyzed by statistical analysis.
Surveys were conducted to 422 active tourist guide with polls verbatim
interviews. After analysis; It was found that a significant relationship
between motivation and demographical datas. Based on the results,
Recommendations are presented to public and private sector.
