The primary motive leading us to compile this paper is the fact that Qarramites are considered among Hanafis by Maqdisi in his Ahsan attaqâsîm. The paper tries to justify this claim by scrutinizing profoundly historical and heresiographical volumes. What made this process thorny is that we don?t have authors? volume, so we were obliged to arrive at conclusions through analysis of opponent works.
