Gazzâlî'nin Dinî-Felsefi Düşüncesinde Tanrı'ın Neliği Sorununa Epistemolojik Bir Yaklaşım

The discussion of Muslim theology and philosoph the problem of essence of God, from middle ages to present day, occupies a highly important position in talking about God. As it is known, Ghazzâlî is an important Muslim thinker of middle ages, who having undertaken a social mission, created a soscio-cultural project for the Muslim world from past heritage which he criticised so as to arrive at an new synthesis. He presents his project or synthesis within the context of conception of God and his synthesis, after him, impact on Islamic world. For this reason Ghazzâlî?s discussion of esence of God has an important role in his worldwiev and Islamic thought. In this article we try to find out what Ghazzâlî says about essence of God andhow he justified his argument about him and what is his synthesis about the essence of God.
