Miracles or miraculous concepts of religious-philosophical terminology has a controversial history in religious thought. Miracle is an instrument that supports the prophet in his claim to prophecy. Because there is no way out apart from bringing these wonderful events against their opponents. In the same way during the prophet time, the Arabs had the superiority in the field of poetry and literature and accordingly the Qur’an has a miraculous character that silenced the Arab all. The linguistic fluency and authenticity both as verse and prose the Qur’an challenged them and they were baffled by its explicate challenge. In this paper, the concept of miraculous and miracles in the light of its etymological and philological analysis will be described in terms of the miracles in general and the linguistic aspects of the Qur’an in particular
