The Songs in The Music Textbook Middle School (5-8) Examined in Terms of The Values
Öz
The aim of this study is to examine the terms of values the songs contained in the unit in the
book music lessons in middle school (5-8). In the study, was used descriptive content analysis
the document analysis method. It has tried to determine. similar and different aspects 5, 6, 7
and 8th grade students music lessons in the workbook lyrics and values are the values in the
training instructions in secondary schools.
As a result of study has been determined the emphasis value where at 230 locations in
the words songs in the music lesson book in the middle school (5-8). It has been identified
that from the values under section 27 in Ministry of Education values educational instruction
highlighted of most “love” value, followed by “patriotism” value. Also is determined not place given to values “Fairness”, “Humility”, “Doing good”, “Cultural Heritage with Bounce”,
“hospitality”, “Be gentle,” “Participatory Be” and “Greetings” in activity song music lessons
middle school(5-8).
