Giresun Sahillerinde Denize Dökülen Aksu Deresi Balıklarında Metallerin Biyolojik Birikimi

Bu çalışmada, Giresun
sahillerinde denize dökülen Aksu deresinde yaşayan dört balık türünün (Barbus capito, Cyprinus carpio, Salmo trutta
macrostigma, Capoeta tinca
) solungaç ve kas dokularındaki metal
konsantrasyonlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İncelenen
türlerin solungaçlarındaki metal birikimleri; kobalt: 0,08- 0,2, krom:
0,18-3,61, bakır: 6,10-33,8, demir: 54,6-671, mangan: 7,74-62,0, nikel:
0,95-4,34, kurşun: 0,72-7,07 ve çinko: 66,8-315, kas dokuda ise; kobalt: <0,01-1,00, krom: 0,36-2,57,
bakır: 7,92-40,4, iron: 46,0-469, mangan: 1,36-15,2,
nikel: 0,66-3,29, kurşun: 0,88-8,89 ve çinko: 43,8-233 in mg kg-1
yaş ağırlık olarak bulunmuştur. İstasyonlar ve mevsimlerdeki metal düzeyleri
arasındaki farklılıklar istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmuştur (p<0,05).
Genel olarak, solungaç metal birikimleri kaslardaki miktarlardan yüksek
bulunmuştur. İncelenen balıkların yenilebilir kas dokusundaki metal birikimleri
insan tüketimi için geçici kabul edilebilir günlük (PTDI) ve haftalık (PTWI)
alımlar ile kıyaslanmıştır. Sonuçlar insan tüketimi açısından değerlendirildiğinde
incelenen türlerdeki metal konsantrasyonlarının, Gıda ve Tarım Örgütü (FAO),
Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) ve Çevre Koruma Ajansı (EPA)’nın önerdiği sınırların
altında olduğunu göstermiştir.
