Üreaz ve Elastaz Aktivitelerine Giresun’dan Toplanan Cystoseira barbata (Stackhouse) C. Agardh Deniz Yosununun İnhibisyon Etkisinin İncelenmesi

ürenin amonyak ve
karbondioksite hidrolizini katalizleyen nikel içerikli bir metaloenzimdir.
Elastazlar (E.C. 3.4.21.36), bağ dokusunun önemli proteni olan elastini ayırma
özelliğine sahip bir grup serin proteazlardır. Mevcut çalışmada, Cystoseiraceae ailesine ait Cystoseira
barbata
(Stackhouse) C. Agardh (C. barbata) deniz yosununun anti-üreaz ve anti-elastaz inhibisyon
özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Ekstrenin anti-üreaz ve
anti-elastaz aktivitelerinin IC50 değerleri sırasıyla 1,366 ± 0,003 μg/mL
ve 0,0078 ± 0,004 μg/mL olarak bulundu. Anti-üreaz standardı olan tiyoürenin
anti-üreaz IC50 değeri 3,61 ± 0,799 μg/mL olarak saptanırken;
anti-elastaz standardı olan ursolik asitin anti-elastaz IC50 değeri
0,0392 ± 0,004 μg/mL olarak bulundu. Bu çalışma, C. barbata yosununun elastaz ve üreaz inhibitör araştırmaları ile
ilgili ilk kayıttır. Çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar, C. barbata yosununun alternatif bir anti-elastaz ve anti-üreaz
kaynağı olarak kullanılabileceğini açıkça göstermektedir.
