Öz
Amaç: Bu çalışmada, sosyal ağ kullanımı ve siyasi ilgi ile
gençlerin online siyasi katılımı arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amaçlanmıştır.
Yöntem: Kasım 2015
Genel Seçimlerinde oy kullanacağını belirten TC Kırklareli Üniversitesi Vize
Meslek Yüksekokulu’nda kayıtlı 400 üniversite öğrencisine kolayda örneklem
yöntemi ile uygulanmıştır. % 80 geri dönüş oranıyla kullanılabilir 320 adet anket
açıklayıcı, doğrulayıcı faktör ve yapısal eşitlik modellemesi analizlerine tabi
tutulmuştur.
Bulgular: Sonuç
olarak, sosyal ağ kullanımı ve siyasi ilgi ile online siyasi katılım arasında
pozitif yönlü istatistiksel olarak anlamı ilişki bulunmaktadır.

YOUTH'S ONLINE POLITICAL PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL NETWORK USAGE AND POLITICAL INTERETS
Öz
Objective: The
purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between social network
sites, political interest and youth’s online political participation.
Method: 400 Vize Vocational College
of Kırklareli University students who stressed to vote in November 2015 General
Elections participated the survey by convenient sampling. 320 usable
questionnaire was obtained with the 80% response rate. Exploratory and
confirmatory factor analyses and structural equation modeling were used to
analyze the data.
Results: As a
result, findings show the positive statistically significant relationship
between online political participation and social network sites usage and
political interest.
