HOW IS INNOVATION AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SHAPING MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATION RESEARCH IN TURKIYE? A LONGITUDINAL ANALYSIS ON UYOK PROCEEDINGS

Öz

This study examines the academic reflections of innovation and digital transformation in the management and organization field in Türkiye, based on the papers presented at the National Management and Organization Congress (UYOK) between 2013 and 2024. Through content analysis, 1,236 papers were analyzed using 93 keywords within the main topics of the knowledge economy, digitalization and innovation. The findings indicate that traditional topics such as entrepreneurship and innovation are well-represented in UYOK papers, while topics like digital platforms, data analytics, and cybersecurity have gained increasing attention in recent years. However, it has been observed that critical areas such as co-creation, servitization, business model innovation and digital workforce remain underexplored. This study provides a comprehensive perspective on how digital transformation is academically addressed in the management and organization field in Türkiye and offers valuable insights into future research directions and gaps.

İNOVASYON VE DİJİTAL DÖNÜŞÜM TÜRKİYE'DEKİ YÖNETİM VE ORGANİZASYON ARAŞTIRMALARINI NASIL ŞEKİLLENDİRİYOR? UYOK BİLDİRİLERİ ÜZERİNE BOYLAMSAL BİR ANALİZ

Öz

Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de yönetim ve organizasyon alanında inovasyon ve dijital dönüşümün akademik yansımalarını, 2013-2024 yılları arasında düzenlenen ve yönetim alanının başat kongresi olan Ulusal Yönetim ve Organizasyon Kongresi (UYOK) bildirileri üzerinden incelemektedir. İçerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak, 93 anahtar kelime aracılığıyla 1236 bildiri, bilgi ekonomisi, dijitalleşme ve inovasyon ana konuları çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, girişimcilik ve inovasyon gibi geleneksel temaların UYOK bildirilerinde kapsamlı bir şekilde ele alındığını gösterirken, dijital platformlar, veri analitiği ve siber güvenlik gibi konuların son yıllarda artan bir ilgi gördüğünü ortaya koymaktadır. Ancak, ortak yaratım, hizmetleştirme, iş modeli inovasyonu ve dijital iş gücü gibi bazı kritik alanların hala araştırılmadığı dikkat çekmektedir. Bu çalışma, Türkiye'deki yönetim ve organizasyon alanında dijital dönüşümün akademik olarak nasıl ele alındığına dair geniş bir perspektif sunmakta ve gelecekteki araştırmalar için önemli eksiklikler ve araştırma yönleri hakkında değerli bilgiler sağlamaktadır.

UYOK Bildirileri Üzerine Boylamsal Bir Analiz” başlıklı çalışmanın yazılması ve yayınlanması süreçlerinde Araştırma ve Yayın Etiği kurallarına riayet edilmiş ve çalışma için elde edilen verilerde herhangi bir tahrifat yapılmamıştır. Çalışma için etik kurul izni gerekmemektedir.
