Neo-liberal policies have produced some negative consequences on labor markets. For this reason, the ILO has put the concept of the decent job based on social security, social dialogue, fundamental rights and employment foundations at the 87th International Labor Congress to alleviate the negativities on the labor markets. The investigation of decent work concept in shopping malls, which are constantly increasing in number and constituting a very important share of the employment (as of 2018, approximately 500 thousand people were directly employed in shopping malls) is the subject of the present study. The study was conducted with a semi-structured interview technique with 10 people working in a shopping mall in Luleburgaz district of Kırklareli. As a result of the research, it is possible to say that the working conditions of the employees are not in accordance with decent job standard.
