Öz

Beck'in umutsuzluğu belirlemek amacıyla hazırladığı Umutsuzluk Ölçeği DSM-lll-R tanı kriterlerine göre majör depresyon, distimik bozukluk tanısı alan ve intihar girişiminde bulunan bir grup hastaya uygulandı. Bu ölçeğin bizim ülkemizde umutsuzluğu belirleyen güvenilir, duyarlı ve kolay uygulanabilir olduğu belirlen

Abstract

Hopelessness scale designed by Beck to quantify hopelessness was administered to a group of patients who had majör depression, dysthimic disorder and attempted suicide according to DSM-lll-R diagnostic criteria. This scale was found as an universal instrument to be reliable, sensitive and easily administered in Turkish psyhiatric patients
