Öz
The purpose of this study is to review the thesesexamining social skills of preschool children in Turkey between 2000 and2013. The sample group of study consisted of 23 postgraduate theses and8 doctoral theses that were written on preschool social skills. It isobserved that a large part of postgraduate theses uses the survey methodand involves 6-year-old children. There is apparently one thesis from theage group of 4 years; whereas any thesis on social skills in the age groupof 0-3 years has not been conducted. In the doctoral theses generally theexperimental method is used and the children in the age group of 4 yearsare studied. It is observed that while there is no study on the age group of0-3 just like in postgraduate theses, there are two studies including the 4year-old group. Türkiye’deki Okul Öncesi Dönem Sosyal Beceri Araştırmaları: 2000-2013 Yılları Arasındaki Tezlerin İncelenmesi
Öz
Araştırmanın amacı, 2000-2013 yılları arasında Türkiye’de gerçekleştirilmiş okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının sosyal becerilerini ele alan tezlerin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, okul öncesi dönemde sosyal beceriler konusunda yapılmış 23 yüksek lisans tezi ve 8 doktora tezinden oluşmuştur. Yüksek lisans tezlerinin büyük bir bölümünün tarama yöntemli olduğu ve yine önemli bir bölümünün 6 yaş çocukları kapsadığı görülmektedir. 4 yaş grubundan tek bir tez bulunurken, 0-3 yaş grubu ile ilgili herhangi bir sosyal beceri tez çalışmasının yapılmadığı görülmektedir. Doktora tezlerinde genellikle deneysel yöntemin kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Yaş grubu olarak da genellikle 6 yaş grubuyla çalışıldığı, yüksek lisans tezlerinde olduğu gibi 0-3 yaş grubuyla ilgili bir çalışmanın yapılmadığı, 4 yaşın dahil edildiği iki çalışmanın olduğu belirlenmiştir. Tezlerle ilgili detaylı bilgiler sonuç ve tartışma bölümlerinde yer almaktadır.
