Yazılı Kaynaklara Göre Ege Göçleri’ne Katılan Kavimler

Öz

M.Ö. XIII. yüzyılın sonları ile
XII. yüzyılın başlarına tarihlenen Ege Göçleri, Bronz Çağı’nı bitirip Demir
Çağları’nın başlamasına neden olduğu gibi Ön Asya’yı siyasi, sosyal ve etnik
açıdan etkilemiştir. Mısır firavunları Merneptah ve III. Ramses göç ederek
gelen kavimlerle olan mücadelelerini Karnak ve Medinet Habu’daki yazıtlar ile
ölümsüzleştirmiştir. Göçlere katılan kavimleri “Bütün ülkelerden gelen
kuzeyliler” olarak niteleyen Mısır yazıtları kökenleri hakkında pek fazla bilgi
vermemiştir. Bu çalışma, Ege Göçlerine katılan kavimlerin faaliyetlerini ve
etnik kökenlerini yazılı kaynaklardan faydalanarak ortaya koymayı
amaçlamaktadır.
