CİNSİYET ROLLERİ İLE İLGİLİ STEREOTİPLERİN TELEVİZYONDA SUNUMU

Öz

Televizyon insanların çevresindeki dünya ile ilgili mesajları güçlendirdiği kültürel stereotiplerle doludur. Gerek çocuk gerekse yetişkin her çeşit televizyon programı oldukça fazla stereotipi barındırır. Bu konuda yapılan araştırmaların çoğu cinsiyet rolleri ile ilgili stereotipler üzerinde durmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kavramsal açıklamaları temel alarak, stereotip, cinsiyet rolleri ve televizyon arasındaki bağlantı üzerinde durmak ve alanda yapılmış önemli araştırmalardan örnekler sunarak konuyu açıklamaktır.
