Bir Yeşil İguana’da Ektoparaziter Enfestasyonun (Hirstiella spp.) İvermektin Solüsyonu İle Tedavisi

Öz

Bu olgunun metaryalini özel bir veteriner kliniğine muayene ve tedavi amaçlı getirilen 1 yaşındaki yeşil iguana (Iguana iguana) oluşturdu. Anamnez bilgilerinde halsizlik, iştahsızlık, kaşıntı ve deride renk değişikliği bulunan iguananın fiziksel ve parazitolojik muayenesi yapıldı. Alınan yüzeysel deri kazıntısının mikroskobik incelemesinde Hirstiella spp. akarı görüldü. Zoonoz ve bulaşıcı karakterde olan enfestasyon iki hafta süreyle hazırlanan ivermektin-su solüsyonu ile topikal olarak tedavi edildi. İkinci hafta sonunda yapılan kontrollerde hastanın sağlığına kavuştuğu görüldü

The Infestation of Ectoparasites (Hirstiella spp.) Treatment with Ivermectin Solition In a Green Iguana: Case Report In this study; 1 year old green iguana (Iguana iguana) which brought to a private veterinary clinic for medical examination and treatment has been subject. Results of clinical, parasitological findings of iguana which has lethargy, anorexia, itching and skin discoloration in medical history. Hirstiella spp. was diagnosed by microscopic examination of collected superficial skin scraping. Infestation that is zoonoses and communicable character was treated with prepared ivermectin-water solition for two weeks. It was observed in the controls at the end of the second week that the patient totally recovered
