This research was conducted to determine biosecurity aspects in broiler farms in respect to official controls and diciplines. Research materials contained the data obtained from the Districts and Provincial Directorates of Food Agriculture and Livestock’s formal controllings in 93 farms in Elazığ and 196 farms in Malatya in January-December 2015. According to the findings, the ratio of farms that had cemented floor and easy cleanable ceiling and walls was 100% in Elazığ and 93.2% in Malatya (p=0.007); the ratio of having hand cleaning and disinfection systems for staff entering the farms was 98.9% in Elazığ and 90.1% in Malatya (p=0.006); the ratio of having disinfection foot bath used in entering and exiting from the farms was 100% in Elazığ and 95.1% in Malatya (p=0.044). Moreover, the ratio of perpetual clean water tanks was 97.8% in Elazığ and 89.6% in Malatya (p=0.019). In this study, the ratio of cemeting the front and the environment of doors properly was 78.8% in Elazığ and 64.4% in Malatya (p=0.02), and the ratio of having convenient cleaning and disinfection systems for vehicles that obligatory would enter farms was 79.6% in Elazığ and 62.9 % in Malatya (p=0.007). Finally, it was found out that broiler farms were high ratio in many biosecurity criteria, however, others had middle ratio. Besides, most of the considered biosecurity criteria were better in Elazığ than Malatya.
