Düşünce kuruluşlarının ve az sayıdaki bilim insanının çoğu zaman belli bir ülkenin dış politikası üzerine çalışmalarına rağmen, uluslararası ilişkiler nadiren ihtimamlı klasik liberal söylemde bir konu teşkil eder. Geçmiş bir asırda veya ona yakın bir sürede, klasik liberaller, çoğu zaman açıklamalarını serbest ticaret ve küreselleşme bir artarsa dünyanın daha ahenkli ve barışçıl bir yer olacağı düsturuyla sınırlayarak, bu konu hakkında ziyadesiyle kendinden memnun oldu...
