AHMET ŞAHİN AK’IN NADİR KULLANILAN MAKAMLARA YÖNELİK BESTECİLİK ÜRETİMİNİN TRT REPERTUVARINDAKİ TEMSİLİ

This study examines the representation of Ahmet Şahin Ak’s compositional output in rarely used makams within the TRT Turkish classical music repertoire. The study draws on the composer’s 168 works accepted into the repertoire and focuses on those composed in 71 makams represented by 10 or fewer works. In this context, the study addresses the question of how Ahmet Şahin Ak’s compositional production in rarely used makams is represented in the TRT Turkish classical music repertoire. The research was conducted within a qualitative framework and structured as a holistic single case study. Data were collected through document analysis. TRT repertoire records and the composer’s published volumes were examined to identify, for each makam, the total number of works in the repertoire and the works attributed to the composer. The findings indicate that the composer is represented in each of the 71 makams by a single work. In some makams, this work constitutes the sole example in the repertoire; in others, it appears among a limited number of works. The study demonstrates that a sustained and deliberate compositional orientation toward rarely used makams is evident in the institutional repertoire as documented in its records. By clarifying the repertoire-level representation of makams with limited presence, it offers a descriptive contribution to discussions of makam distribution and repertoire diversity in Turkish classical music.

Bu araştırma, Ahmet Şahin Ak’ın nadir kullanılan makamlara yönelik bestecilik üretiminin TRT Türk sanat müziği repertuvarındaki temsiline odaklanmaktadır. Araştırma, bestecinin repertuvara kabul edilmiş 168 eseri arasından, repertuvarda 10 veya daha az eserle temsil edilen 71 makamda yer alan örnekleri kapsamaktadır. Bu kapsamda araştırma, Ahmet Şahin Ak’ın nadir kullanılan makamlara yönelik bestecilik üretimi TRT Türk sanat müziği repertuvarında nasıl temsil edilmektedir sorusuna yanıt aramaktadır. Araştırma nitel yaklaşım çerçevesinde bütüncül tek durum deseniyle yürütülmüştür. Veriler doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle toplanmış; TRT repertuvar kayıtları ile besteciye ait yayımlanmış eserler incelenmiştir. İnceleme sürecinde her bir makamda repertuvarda yer alan toplam eser sayısı ile besteciye ait eser sayısı belirlenmiş ve eserlerin repertuvar içindeki temsili ortaya konmuştur. Bulgular, bestecinin söz konusu 71 makamın her birinde tekil eserlerle repertuvarda yer aldığını göstermektedir. Bazı makamlarda besteciye ait eser repertuvardaki tek örneği oluştururken, diğer makamlarda sınırlı sayıdaki eserler arasında yer almaktadır. Sonuç olarak çalışma, nadir kullanılan makamlara yönelen planlı bir bestecilik üretiminin kurumsal repertuvar içinde belgeye dayalı biçimde izlenebildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu yönüyle araştırma, makamsal temsiliyetin repertuvar düzeyindeki görünümünü somut verilerle açıklamakta ve nadir makamların repertuvar içindeki yerine ilişkin literatüre betimleyici düzeyde katkı sunmaktadır.
