TOPLUMSAL BELLEK BAĞLAMINDA KIBRIS TÜRK MANİLERİNDEKİ İDEOLOJİK-POLİTİK YANSIMALAR

Social memory consists of the information acquired as the result of a society shared experiences. The information stored is as a source which allows following the historical and current issues. Moreover, this information also can be the source of written and oral literature. In such a case, it transfers the information updated to the new generations and make it easily functional. In this sense, a number of ideological and political development processes which Cyprus experienced in the last hundred years, as a social memory data, have found their reflections in the written and oral literature of Turkish Cypriots. Especially those in the anonymous nature of the oral literature products have a particular importance for the social memory in terms of reflecting a common sentiment. In this respect, many ideological and political developments which had a place in the social memory of Turkish Cypriots are possible to see in the Cyprus manis. In this study, the reflections of ideological-political developments on the Turkish Cypriots’ manis are examined in the context of social memory. Manis are divided into four groups based on common characteristics and these groups are supported by sample detected.

Toplumsal bellek, bir toplumun ortak deneyimleri sonucu edindiği bilgilerden oluşur. Bu ortamda depolanan bilgiler, birtakım tarihsel ve güncel konuların izlenebildiği birer kaynak niteliğindedir. Bu bilgiler ayrıca, yazılı ve sözlü edebiyat ürünlerine de kaynaklık edebilir. Böyle bir durum, söz konusu bilgilerin güncellenerek yeni kuşaklara aktarılmasında ve işlevsellik kazanmasında kolaylık sağlar. Bu çerçevede Kıbrıs’ın özellikle son yüz yıllık sürecinde yaşanan birtakım ideolojik ve politik gelişmeler, bir toplumsal bellek verisi olarak, Kıbrıs Türklerinin yazılı ve sözlü edebiyatlarında da yansımasını bulmuştur. Sözlü edebiyat ürünlerinden özellikle anonim nitelikte olanlar, ortak duyarlılığı yansıtmaları bakımından toplumsal bellek için ayrı bir öneme sahiptir. Bu açıdan Kıbrıs manilerinde de, Kıbrıs Türklerinin toplumsal belleğinde yer etmiş birçok ideolojik ve politik gelişmeyi görmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada, Kıbrıs Türk manilerine yansıyan ideolojik-politik gelişmeler, toplumsal bellek bağlamında incelenmiştir. Söz konusu niteliklere sahip maniler, ortak özelliklerine göre dört gruba ayrılmış ve bu gruplar tespit edilen örneklerle desteklenmiştir.
