Öz

Thoracic aort aneurysms may lead severe complications. Untreated aneurysms may rupture at any time which has a very high mortality. Those aneurysms may be treated both with conventional open surgery and with endovascular stentgrafting. Themost appropriateapproachforthosecases is treatment with endovascular stent-grafting which should be done after a comprehensive evaluation of the patients. Endovascular therapy for aneurysmsof thethoracic aortacanavoidthecomplicationsof open surgerywith high mortalityandmorbidityratesandmayshortenthestay in theintensive care units. Success rates of this procedure is considerably high in the surgical centerswithawellexperiencedteam includingcardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists and anesthesiologists. Endovascular aneurysm repair has been performed in our university hospital since, October 2006.

Distal Arkus Anevrizmasında Endovasküler Tedavi: Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Torasikaort anevrizmasıciddikomplikasyonlara nedenolabilen birdurumdur. Zamanındamüdahaleedilmediğindeanevrizmarüptüreolup yüksek oranda mortaliteileseyredebilmektedir. Bu türanevrizmalar klasikaçıkaort cerrahisi ya da uygun vakalarda endovasküler stent grefting uygulanması ile tedavi edilebilmektedir. Günümüzde en uygun yaklaşım hastaların iyi bir şekilde identifikasyonuyapılarakanevrizmanınendovasküler stentgreftiletamiredilmesidir. Böylece hastalar açık aort cerrahisi gibi büyük bir cerrahi prosedür ve sonrasında yüksek bir mortalite ve morbidite ile seyreden yoğun bakım periyodundan korunmaktadır. Bu yötemiletedavininbaşarısıtecrübeliekip ve gerekli donanıma sahip merkezlerde çok yüksektir. İşlem Kalp ve Damar Cerrahisi, Kardiyoloji, Anesteziyoloji vereanimasyonekiplerininortakçalışmaları ile Ekim 2006 tarihinden beri multidisipliner olarak hastanemizde başarı ile uygulanmaktadır.
