Öz

Regional policies which are implemented to decrease the regional imbalances increased by the enlargement of the European Union and to increasethe income and employment in underdeveloped regions are linked to certain goals depending  Öğr. During 2007-2013, it is expected that there will be important expenditures as part of the regional economic policies with the aim of converging the income of the regions, increasing the competitive structure and employment in the regions, and improving the cooperation among the regions. It will be possible to state that regional economic policies contribute to the convergence of the income in underdeveloped regions and nations in the union, and considerably increase in the employment. These policies that change in time, may be reshaped depending on the challenging areas in the future.

AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ’NDE BÖLGESEL DENGESİZLİKLER VE BU DENGESİZLİKLERİ GİDERMEYE YÖNELİK EKONOMİK POLİTİKALARIN ANALİZİ

Öz

Özellikle Avrupa Birliği’nin genişleme süreciyle birlikte boyutları artan bölgesel dengesizlikleri gidermek ve geri kalmış bölgelerde gelir ve istihdam artışı sağlamak amacıyla uygulanan bölgesel ekonomik politikalar, finansal araçların kullanım önceliklerine bağlı olarak bir takım hedeflere bağlanmıştır. İçinde bulunulan 2007-2013 döneminde, bölgeler arası gelir yakınsamasını sağlamak, bölgelerde rekabetçi yapıyı ve istihdamı artırmak ve bölgeler arası işbirliğini geliştirmek amacıyla, bölgesel ekonomik politikalar çerçevesinde önemli harcamalar yapılması beklenmektedir. Uygulanan bölgesel ekonomik politikaların, Birliğin geri kalmış ülke ve bölgelerinde gelir yakınsamasına katkıda bulunduğu, gelir ve istihdamda önemli oranda artışlar sağladığı ifade edilebilecektir. Zaman içerisinde bazı değişimler gösteren bu politikalar, gelecekteki mücadele alanlarına bağlı olarak da yeniden şekillenebilecektir.
