Eğitimde Sosyal Problem Çözme Yayınlarının R Studio ile Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Bu araştırma, eğitim alanında sosyal problem çözme konusundaki akademik yayınları R studio ortamında bibliyometrik analiz yöntemiyle incelemektedir. WoS ve Scopus veri tabanlarından elde edilen, 1932–2025 yılları arasında yayımlanmış toplam 640 benzersiz çalışma analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizlerde, yıllara göre yayın eğilimleri, en üretken yazarlar, en çok atıf alan çalışmalar, önde gelen dergiler, anahtar kelime kullanım sıklıkları, iş birliği ağları, tematik gelişim ve kavramsal yapı ortaya konmuştur. Bulgular, 2000’li yılların ortalarından itibaren alandaki yayın sayısında belirgin bir artış olduğunu ve 2013 yılında zirveye ulaştığını göstermektedir. Araştırma temalarının çocuklar ve ergenler, sosyal beceri geliştirme, önleme programları ve psikososyal müdahaleler etrafında yoğunlaştığı; son yıllarda ise özsaygı, psikolojik dayanıklılık ve öz-yeterlik gibi pozitif psikoloji odaklı kavramların ön plana çıktığı belirlenmiştir. Yazar, kurum ve ülke düzeyinde iş birliği ağlarının güçlü merkezler etrafında yoğunlaştığı; Türkiye’nin ABD ile sınırlı bir bağlantıya sahip olduğu ancak uluslararası iş birliklerini çeşitlendirme potansiyelinin bulunduğu görülmektedir. Bu bulgular, sosyal problem çözme araştırmalarının eğitim bağlamında yalnızca problem davranışların önlenmesine odaklanan dar bir çerçeveden, öğrencilerin sosyal-duygusal gelişimini ve psikolojik dayanıklılığını destekleyen bütüncül yaklaşımlara doğru evrildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma, sosyal problem çözmenin sosyal-duygusal öğrenme programları, okul temelli önleyici müdahaleler ve pozitif psikoloji uygulamalarıyla kuramsal bütünleşmesini görünür kılmaktadır ve eğitim politikaları, öğretmen eğitimi programları ve okul rehberlik hizmetleri için kanıta dayalı yönelimler sunmaktadır. Ayrıca tematik boşlukların belirlenmesiyle gelecekteki araştırmalar için stratejik öncelik alanları ortaya koymaktadır.

Bibliometric Analysis of Publications on Social Problem Solving in Education Using R Studio

Öz

This study examines academic publications on social problem solving in the field of education using bibliometric analysis. A total of 640 unique studies published between 1932 and 2025, retrieved from the WoS and Scopus databases, were analyzed. The analyses examined publication trends over time, most productive authors, highly cited works, leading journals, keyword frequency, collaboration networks, thematic development, and conceptual structure. Findings indicate a significant increase in publications since the mid-2000s, peaking around 2013. Research themes have centered on children and adolescents, social skills development, prevention programs, and psychosocial interventions, with recent years showing increased focus on positive psychology constructs such as self-esteem, resilience, and self-efficacy. Collaboration networks at the author, institutional, and country levels are concentrated around strong central hubs; Türkiye has a limited connection with the USA but possesses potential to diversify international partnerships. These findings indicate that research on social problem solving in educational contexts has evolved from a narrow focus on the prevention of problem behaviors toward more comprehensive approaches that promote students’ social-emotional development and psychological resilience. The study makes visible the theoretical integration of social problem solving with social and emotional learning frameworks, school-based preventive interventions, and positive psychology applications. In doing so, it offers evidence-informed directions for educational policy, teacher education programs, and school counseling practices. Furthermore, by identifying thematic gaps within the literature, the study outlines strategic priority areas for future research.
