Assesment of the Relationship Between Delegating Authority and Anxiety of Schools’principle in Terms of Productıvity Aspect

In this research, it has been examined the relationship between anxiety level and delegation of the school administrators in terms of productivity. In this research, Delegation Inventory (19 items), Anxiety Scala (40 items) are used. The population of the sample group is 163 high school administrators. The data collected from the research states that the school administrators mostly believe that they are quite objective in delegation. However, nearly half of the administrators believe that their subordinates can not prevail delegation when they are away from job and most of the administrators prefer to talk to face to face with their subordinates when they need delegation. And these conclusions state clearly that administrators have tendency to defend themselves when duties don’t go well. Thus the main problem comes out as centralization with top management in school system. While applying the orders responsibility and delegation conflict becomes inevitable and this conflict enables school administrators to complete the tasks. Another problem that bloks the delegation is insufficient control and inspection system. The collected data concluded that relation hasn’t been seen between the anxiety level and delegation process. Concequently, to obtain and increase productivity and quality levels, it is obligatory that training programmes must be applied regulary to the school administrators in order to enable them to gain leadership attitudes.
