DÖNÜŞÜMCÜ LİDERLİĞİN İNOVASYON YETKİNLİKLERİNE ETKİSİ: SAĞLIK SEKTÖRÜNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz

Bu araştırma, dönüşümcü liderlik tarzının sağlık çalışanlarının bireysel inovasyon yetkinlikleri üzerindeki etkilerini ve bu yetkinliklerin alt boyutlarına (yaratıcılık, eleştirel düşünme, girişkenlik, takım çalışması, ağ kurma) olan yansımalarını incelemektedir. İstanbul Beyoğlu ilçesindeki özel ve devlet hastaneleri ile aile sağlığı merkezlerinde görev yapan 194 sağlık çalışanından kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle anket yoluyla veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan ölçekler dönüşümcü liderlik ve bireysel inovasyon yetkinliklerini ölçmek için geliştirilmiştir. Veriler SPSS ve AMOS programları kullanılarak doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) ve yapısal eşitlik modeli (YEM) yöntemleriyle analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, dönüşümcü liderliğin bireysel inovasyon yetkinlikleri ve alt boyutları üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif etkiler yarattığını göstermiştir. Çalışma, sağlık sektöründe liderlik uygulamalarını iyileştirme ve inovasyon yetkinliklerini artırma stratejileri için rehber niteliğindedir.

EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON INNOVATION COMPETENCIES: A RESEARCH IN THE HEALTH SECTOR

Öz

This study aims to investigate the impact of transformational leadership on the individual innovation competencies of healthcare workers and its influence on specific sub-dimensions of these competencies, including creativity, critical thinking, proactiveness, teamwork, and networking. The research was conducted among healthcare workers in private hospitals, public hospitals, and family health centers in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. Data were collected from 194 healthcare professionals selected through convenience sampling using surveys. Scales designed to measure transformational leadership and individual innovation competencies were employed. The data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software, applying confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). Results demonstrated that transformational leadership positively and significantly affects individual innovation competencies and their sub-dimensions. This study contributes both theoretically and practically to the literature by highlighting transformational leadership’s role in enhancing innovation capacity and guiding leadership practices in healthcare to foster innovation.
