Öz

Lace is a distinguished textile formed by drmvings consisl of threads and holes, in order to create an aesthetic balance. According to the techniques used during its production, we called it bobbiıı lace or needle lace. In the course of time, lace created its own commercial balance with different names, comes from the variation of the pattern and techniques used in its production. When we talk about the industrial use of lace, it’s seen that due to the technological developments, the production techniques of the lace also differed from time to time. But its importaııce in the Textile sector has never diminished since years.
