GÖNÜLLÜ YÖNETİMİ ALANINDA YAPILAN ÇALIŞMALARIN BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZİ

Öz

Önemli bir güç olarak değerlendirilen sivil toplum örgütleri, kamuoyu oluşturma, toplumsal farkındalık, gerekli görülen konularda yapılan iyileştirmeler ve boşluk görülen alanlarda çalışmalar yapmaktadır. Sivil toplum örgütleri bu çalışmaları hayata geçirirken de profesyonel çalışanlar ve gönüllüler gibi iki temel insan kaynağından faydalanmaktadırlar. Böylesi önemli bir insan kaynağının temini, sivil toplum örgütleri içerisinde doğru konumlandırılmaları, devamlılıklarının sağlanması gönüllü yönetimi konusunun önemini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu sebeple bu araştırmanın amacı gönüllü yönetimi konusunda alanda yaşanan değişimi ve odaklanmaları ortaya çıkararak yazında bu konuda yapılacak çalışmalara yön göstermektir. Bu kapsamda Web of Science veri tabanında yer alan 283 makale VOSviewer programı kullanılarak bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Alanda yapılan çalışmaların en çok ABD’de olduğu, 2009 yılından bu yana yapılan çalışma sayılarında artış yaşandığı, yayınların daha çok sivil toplum alanında yayın yapan dergilerde yer aldığı gibi bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Alandaki yayınlar bütünsel bir bakış açısıyla incelendiğinde gönüllü yönetiminin klasik insan kaynakları yaklaşımının ötesine geçen “profesyonel bir gönüllü” şeklinde yaklaşım zorunluluğu ortaya çıkmaktadır.

Bibliometric Analysis of Studies Conducted in the Field of Volunteer Management

Öz

Non-governmental organizations, which are considered as an important power, work to create public opinion, social awareness, make improvements in matters deemed necessary and work in areas where there are gaps. While carrying out these activities, non-governmental organizations benefit from two basic human resources such as professional employees and volunteers. Providing such an important human resource, positioning it correctly within non-governmental organizations and ensuring their continuity reveal the importance of volunteer management. For this reason, the aim of this research is to reveal the changes and focuses in the field of volunteer management and to guide the studies to be carried out on this subject in the literature. In this context, 283 articles in the Web of Science database were examined with the bibliometric analysis method using the VOSviewer program. It has been found that most of the studies in the field are in the USA, that there has been an increase in the number of studies since 2009, and that the publications are mostly published in journals publishing in the field of civil society. When the publications in the field are examined from a holistic perspective, the necessity of approaching volunteer management as a "professional volunteer" that goes beyond the classical human resources approach emerges.
