The increasing demand for health services day by day causes nurses, who play an important role in health service delivery, to increase their workload and experience burnout. At this point, it is important to determine the factors that increase and decrease the burnout levels of nurses. In this study, it was aimed to determine the levels of burnout, psychological capital and workplace favoritism of nurses and to reveal the relationship between these variables. In this context, the sample of the study consisted of 266 nurses working in public and private health institutions in different provinces of Turkey. The data were collected by online survey method. The questionnaire included questions about demographic information, burnout scale, psychological capital scale and workplace favoritism scale. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using descriptive, comparative and correlation tests in SPSS package program. As a result of the research analysis, it was determined that the burnout and psychological capital levels of the nurses were high and their favoritism levels were above average. It was determined that the mean score of workplace favoritism was higher in public health institutions. When the relationships between variables were examined, it was concluded that there was a positive relationship between favoritism and burnout and a negative relationship with psychological capital.
