The Role And Importance Of The Educatıon Systems Of Turkey And Fınland And The Physıcal Educatıon Course In The Course Programs
Abstract
In recent days when a sedentary lifestyle has been embraced, particularly in the physical and mental development processes of children, they have positively contributed to their healthy growth and their active lifestyle. The benefits of activities such as physical education, sports and games for children, adolescents and adults have been the subject of many researches. Learning is a process that begins in the mother's womb, continues with the family and is supported by the school. Education is the basic element of the development and progress of societies. In this study, it is aimed to show that Turkey and Finland have gained the role of the physical education course in the curriculum of education systems and curriculums in terms of habit of sports to the applied curriculum under the influence of geographical and cultural differences in physical education and sports. In the study, scanning method based on the literature was used. Research data was obtained by examining the related sources on the subject in various international libraries, journals, books and sports organizations. According to the information obtained in the research; Finland's Education has been based on the principle of 'providing equal opportunities for all' and has been of exceptional value to the concept of equality. Fin Schools have been informed that a wide range of sporting activities are available and that workshops are being conducted to further increase the number of hours of physical education classes. Compulsory education in Finland starts at age 7, while children in Turkey at age 6 start compulsory education, while textbooks in Turkey are known as the main actors in education, books are only included as extras in Finland. Furthermore, in the Fin education system, when the children are not tested until the end of compulsory education; In Turkey, examinations are started in primary school period. In Finland, Physical Education and Sports lessons are administered by the branch teacher from the 1st to the 9th. In Turkey, physical education and sports lessons are implemented by the class teacher under the name of "Games and Physical Activity" in primary school period.
