Nursing care of a patient with Cirrhosis according to Gordon's Functional Health Patterns Model: A case report

Analyzing the problems of patients with cirrhosis and determining how these problems affect their daily lives is crucial within the scope of nursing practice. Various nursing models and theories can be used to address this issue. However, deciding which model is more appropriate to use in which patient group will be possible by diversifying the examples of the use of theories and models. In this context, the purpose of the case presentation was to ensure that a patient with cirrhosis receives care using Marjory Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns model and to provide an example of its application.

Siroz olan hastanın Gordon’un Fonksiyonel Sağlık Örüntüleri Modeline göre hemşirelik bakımı: Olgu sunumu

Öz

Siroz hastalarının sorunlarının detaylı analiz edilmesi, günlük yaşamlarında karşılaştıkları sorunların belirlenmesi, hemşirelik uygulamaları kapsamında oldukça önemlidir. Bu noktada çeşitli hemşirelik model ve kuramları kullanılabilir. Ancak hangi hasta grubunda hangi modelin kullanımının daha uygun olduğuna karar verilmesi kuram ve modellerin kullanımına yönelik örneklerin çeşitlendirilmesi ile mümkün olacaktır. Bu kapsamda olgu sunumunun amacı; siroz hastasının Marjory Gordon’un Fonksiyonel Sağlık Örüntüleri Modeli kullanılarak bakım almasının sağlanması ve modelin kullanımı konusunda örnek oluşturulmasıdır.
