A Model of Global Religion for the New World Order: Moonism

The Unification Church or so-called Moonism is a religious movement which was founded in South Korea as a syncretism of Protestant Christianity and Far East religions and philosophies (especially Confucianism and the tradi-tions of Yin Yang) in 1954 and of which headquarter later was transferred to America. It is noticeable that this movement holds the same aims as the United States, namely both aim the foundation of the “new world order”. It is conse-quently the basic principle of the movement as emphasized in the sacred book, Divine Principle that a world with one culture based on one language and one society/people must be founded. The movement headed by Sun Myung Moon tries to fulfill this aim by using its cultural and economical resources in the ac-tivities carried out by its adherents throughout world.

Yeni Dünya Düzenine Küresel Bir Din Modeli: Moonculuk

Moonculuk ya da Birleştirme Kilisesi, 1954 yılında Protestan Hıristiyanlık ile Uzakdoğu inanç ve felsefelerinin (özellikle Konfüçyanizm ve Yin Yang gelene-ği’nin) bir senkretizmi olarak Güney Kore’de kurulan ve daha sonra merkezi Amerika’ya nakledilen bir dinsel akımdır. Bu akımın, “yeni dünya düzeni”ni kurma konusunda Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ile aynı hedefleri taşıdığı dikkati çekmektedir. Akımın temel ilkesi, kutsal kitap İlahi İlke’de vurgulandığı şekilde bütün insanlığı kapsayan tek dil ve tek halka dayalı tek kültürlü bir dünyanın kurulmasıdır. Sun Myung Moon liderliğindeki hareket dünya genelinde yürüttü-ğü faaliyetleri ve sahip olduğu kültürel ve ekonomik kaynaklarıyla bu amacı gerçekleştirmeye çalışmaktadır.
