EVALUATION OF TEACHERS’ VIEWS RELATED THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL CAPITAL AND MOTIVATION

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between social capital and the teachers’ motivation level according to class teachers’ perceptions. The population of the study consisted of primary schools teachers who worked in the fall semester 2009-2010 in the center of Elazığ province. Data were collected from a sample of 375 teachers working at primary schools in Elazığ. In this study the social capital scale developed by Ersözlü (2008) and the motivation scale developed by Claude, at all (2008) were used. SOSYAL SERMAYE VE MOTİVASYON ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİYE YÖNELİK ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerine göre okullarda sosyal sermaye ve öğretmenlerin motivasyon düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyiincelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini, Elazığ İli Merkez ilköğretimokullarında 2009-2010 eğitim-öğretim döneminde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, mevcut çalışma evreni içerisindedağıtılan ölçeklere cevap veren 375 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmadakullanılan sosyal sermaye ölçeği Ersözlü (2008), motivasyon ölçeği ise Claudevd. (2008) tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Sosyal sermaye ve motivasyon arasındapozitif yönde ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir
