MUSIC TEACHER’S ASSESMENT ON NEW MUSIC CURRICULUM IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS AND TEACHING METHODS APPLICATIONS

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the methods that have been used in teaching “the new constructive music lesson curriculum” which has been in use since the 2007-2008 Educational year and the positive and negative views (comments) of the lesson teachers on the new programme and books. In order to succeed in this quest 70 teachers chosen from Central Anatolia, The Black Sea, Mediterranean, Aegean Sea, Marmara and East Anatolian regions were applied “ the constuctive interview form and questionaire”. The result revealed that the teachers don’t use the active learning techniques and use their own ways of teaching instead which shows that these ways of teaching have become their own teaching module.The study also comprises estimations on better and more effective applications of the programme.

MÜZİK ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN YENİ İLKÖĞRETİM MÜZİK DERSİ ÖĞRETİM PROGRAMINA İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ VE PROGRAMI UYGULAMA YÖNTEMLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Öz

Bu araştırmayla, MEB’nın 2007- 2008 Eğitim – Öğretim yılından itibarenuygulamaya koyduğu yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı yeni “İlköğretim MüzikDersi Öğretim Programı”nı uygulayan müzik öğretmenlerinin ders işleme yöntemlerinin tespit edilmesi, müzik öğretmenlerinin yeni program ve kitaplar hakkındaki olumlu ya da olumsuz düşüncelerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Buamaçla, İç Anadolu, Karadeniz, Akdeniz, Ege, Marmara ve Doğu Anadolu bölgelerinde görev yapan 70 müzik öğretmenine “Yapılandırılmış Görüşme formuve Anket” uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Öğretmenlerin yeni yaklaşımlara dayalı aktif öğrenme yöntemlerini yeterince kullanmadıklarını, programıöğretmen merkezli bildik yöntemlerle uyguladıkları, bu tür ders işleme biçimlerini kendilerine ders işleme modeli olarak benimsedikleri söylenebilir.Araştırmada ayrıca programın daha etkili ve verimli uygulanmasına yöneliksaptamalarda da bulunulmuştur
