AIMS OF LITERATURE EDUCATION AND METHODS, TECHNIQUES AND EXEMPLARY IMPLEMENTATIONS FOR THESE AIMS

Abstract

Literature education is one of the central issues in contemporary education being an important educational area which contributes to one’s personal development by improving the skills to establish good relations with others, to live in harmony with themselves and the society, and to express themselves. Keeping this reality in mind, the main focus of this study is to emphasize the benefits of literature education on the personal development of individuals. It further aims to suggest methods and techniques to be applied in this process. In this framework, before all else, the related terms are defined, and then the prominent purposes of literature education are explained, and in such a context, exemplary implementations of the methods and the techniques suggested are described.

EDEBİYAT EĞİTİMİNDE AMAÇLAR VE BU AMAÇLARA YÖNELİK YÖNTEM TEKNİK VE ÖRNEK UYGULAMALAR

Öz

Edebiyat eğitimi, çağdaş eğitimin önemli merkez noktalarından biridir. Çünkü edebiyat eğitimi, bireyin kendisini geliştirme, başkalarıyla iyi ilişkiler kurabilme, kendisini başkalarına ifade edebilme, kendisiyle ve çevresiyle barışık bir şekilde yaşamasını sağlama gibi özellikler bakımından bireysel gelişime katkıda bulunan önemli bir eğitim alanıdır. İşte bu gerçekten hareketle biz bu çalışmamızda edebiyat eğitiminin bireye kazandıracağı kazanımlar üzerinde durmaya, kazanımların verilmesi sürecinde uygulanacak yöntem ve teknikleri vermeye çalıştık. Bu çerçevede öncelikle edebiyat ve edebiyat eğitimi ile ilgili kavramları açıkladıktan sonra edebiyat eğitiminde başlıca amaçlar ve bu amaçlara yönelik yöntem, teknik ve örnek uygulamalar üzerinde durduk ve gerekli açıklamalarda bulunduk.
