Pandemi Sürecinde İlahiyat Fakültesi Son Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Öğretmenlik Uygulaması Dersine İlişkin Görüşlerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada, COVID 19 salgın sürecinde öğretmenlik uygulaması dersini alan ilahiyat fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinin uygulama okullarındaki uzaktan eğitimle gerçekleştirilen öğretmenlik uygulaması dersine bakışlarının ve bu dersteki güncel değişimin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda uygulama okullarında akademik danışman ve uygulama öğretmeni rehberliğinde gerçekleştirilen uzaktan öğretmenlik uygulaması dersi, öğrenci gözüyle öğrenme-öğretme süreci ekseninde incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, tarama modeli benimsenmiş, nicel araştırma yöntemi ve anket tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Bu çerçevede, araştırma öncesinde Balıkesir Üniversitesi Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Etik Komisyondan 17.06.2021 tarihli ve 19928322/900/41239 sayılı “Etik Kurul Onay Belgesi” ile anket uygulama izni alınmıştır. Sonrasında 2020-2021 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Balıkesir Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinden öğretmenlik uygulaması dersini alan öğrenciler üzerinde anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; derslerde farklı öğretim yöntem-teknik ve materyallerinin kullanıldığı, bunlarda anlatım ve soru-cevap yöntemi ile ders kitabı ve PowerPoint sunum materyalinin ön plana çıktığı, uygulama öğretmenlerinin derslerdeki motivasyon ve verimliliğinin yeterli görüldüğü, uygulamada okullarında zorluk yaşanılan derslerin başında İHL meslek derslerinin olduğu, konuların başında ise Kur’an-ı Kerim öğretiminin geldiği, sınavlarda çoktan seçmeli testin öne çıktığı, öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun öğretmenlik uygulamasının işleyişini yeterli bulduğu ve bu süreçten memnun oldukları, memnuniyetin sebebinin ise; uygulama öğretmeninin deneyiminden yararlanılması, fakültede öğrenilenlerle ilgili pratik yapma imkânının bulunması, mesleğin daha iyi tanınması, anlaşılması, benimsenmesi, inceliklerinin öğrenilmesi, öğrencilerin kişisel ve öğretmenlik mesleğinin gelişimine katkı sunması olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin önemli bir bölümünün, pandemi sürecinden sonra öğretmenlik uygulaması dersinin yüz yüze eğitimle devam etmesi gerektiğini ve öğretmenlik uygulamasının niteliğini arttırmak için bu dersin Güz ve Bahar yarıyılında Öğretmenlik Uygulaması I ve II şeklinde düzenlenmesinin çok faydalı olacağını düşündüğü belirlenmiştir.

This study aimed to reveal the perspectives of senior theology faculty students/candidate teachers who took the teaching practice course during the COVID-19 pandemic on the teaching practice course delivered via distance learning in their practice schools and the current changes in this course. In this context, the distance teaching practice course, conducted in practice schools under the guidance of an academic advisor and a practice teacher, was examined from the perspective of the student, focusing on the teaching-learning process. The study employed a survey model, employing quantitative research methods and survey techniques. In this context, prior to the research, permission to conduct the survey was obtained from the Balıkesir University Social and Human Sciences Ethics Committee with the "Ethics Committee Approval Certificate" dated 17.06.2021 and numbered 19928322/900/41239. Afterwards, a survey was conducted on the senior students of Balıkesir University Faculty of Theology who took the teaching practice course in the 2020-2021 Academic Year. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research; it has been determined that different teaching methods-techniques and materials are used in the courses, that lecture and question-answer method as well as textbook and PowerPoint presentation materials are prominent in these, that the motivation and efficiency of the practice teachers in the lessons are considered sufficient, that the most difficult courses in the practice schools are the IHL vocational courses, that the main difficult subject is teaching the Holy Qur’an, that the multiple-choice tests are prominent in the exams, that the majority of the students find the functioning of the teaching practice sufficient and are satisfied with this process, that the reason for this satisfaction is; benefiting from the experience of the practice teacher, having the opportunity to practice what is learned at the faculty, getting to know, understand and adopt the profession better, learning its details, and contributing to the personal development of the students and the teaching profession. In addition, it was determined that a significant portion of the students thought that the teaching practice course should continue with face-to-face education after the pandemic process and that it would be very useful to organize this course as Teaching Practice I and II in the Fall and Spring semesters in order to increase the quality of teaching practice.
