Öz
In this study, it is aimed to examine the attitudes of primary school teachers towards the Turkish World. The sample of this study, which was carried out in the screening model, was determined using the simple random sampling technique. The sample of the study consists of 271 primary school teachers who accepted to participate in the study voluntarily and work in Yozgat. The data were collected through the “Turkish World Attitude Scale” developed by Akın, Saraçlı, Kılıç and Yıldırım (2017) and analyzed with the SPSS statistical program. As a result of the study, in the attitudes of primary school teachers towards the Turkish World, the item with the highest score is "Holiday and tour programs for the Turkish World bring us closer.", and the item with the lowest score is "I follow/participate in vacation and tour programs for the Turkish World." conclusion has been reached. It has been found that the attitudes of teachers towards the Turkish World are at the level of moderate agreement. In addition, it was concluded that the attitudes of the primary school teachers towards the Turkish World showed a significant difference in favor of male teachers according to gender, but did not show a significant difference according to educational status. It has been concluded that there is a significant difference in the attitudes of the Turkish World and the cognitive and affective sub-dimension attitudes of the primary school teachers according to their professional seniority, but there is no significant difference in the behavioral sub-dimension.
