Özet

Daniel Buren nasıl bir sanatçıdır? Hayatı boyunca ürettiği 8.7 cm. şeritlerle ne yapmaya çalışmaktadır? Onun sanatına nasıl yaklaşabiliriz? Bu metinde buna benzer sorularla Daniel Buren'in sanat anlayışı incelenmeye çalışılmaktadır.

Ülkemize de gelen sanatçı, yapıtlarında hem görsel hem de düşünsel nitelikleri dengeli bir biçimde taşımasıyla günümüz sanat ortamı açısından hala önemini korumak­tadır.

Abstract

What kind of artist, Daniel Buren is? What does he try to do with 8.7 cm. band which he produced it all his life? How can we approach his art? With these kind of ques­tions, Daniel Buren's understanding of art is tried to expose in this text.

This artist, he has came our country before, still maintain his importance nowadays to keep the visual and conceptual quality with equally in his works.
