Özet

19. asrın sonu ile 20. asrın başı Türk toplumu için oldukça zor bir dönemdir. Bir taraftan kendi devletleri yıkılmaktadır öte yandan gelecekte ne olacağı henüz net değildir. Y. Kemal bu dönemi bütün yönleri ile yaşar ve bu yaşantıyı eserlerine aktarır. Aktarırken de yeni devletin ve kültürün nasıl olacağına dair önemli tekliflerde bulunur. Bu öneriler arasında ev imgesi önemli bir yer tutar. Bu makalede Yahya Kemal'in bu ev imgesini nasıl geliştirdiği ve bununla ne kast ettiği bulunmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract

End of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century were quite difficult periods for the Turkish society. Their own State started to be collapsed on the one hand and what was going to be happened in the future was not clear yet on the other hand. Yahya Kemal experienced all the difficulties of the period and mentioned these experiences in his own works. In these works, he had very important suggestions regarding the new possible form of the State and the culture. The image of home is of important place among these suggestions. In this paper, I will try to point out how he developed this image and what he really meant with it.
