Tibet Tıp Kaynaklarında Orta Asya Türk Tıbbı

Öz

Tibet tıbbının geçmişi VII. yüzyıla kadar uzanmaktadır. On üçüncü yüzyıl öncesinde Tibet tıbbını etkileyen temel kaynaklar Hindistan, Çin ve Batı’dır. Ancak bunun yanında Orta Asya tıbbı da, Tibet tıbbıyla yoğun bir etkileşim içinde olmuştur. Erken dönem Tibet tıp metinleri incelendiğinde, o dönemde Orta Asya’da yerleşik olan bazı Türk devletlerindeki tıp sanatı ile ilgili bilgiler verildiği görülmektedir. Bu metinlerde, Türkleri ifade etmek için kullanılan üç sözcük vardır: Drugu (Türk), Hor (Uygur) ve Garlok (Karluk). Bu metinlerde yer alan ve Türk tıbbıyla ilgili olan bilgiler şöyle özetlenebilir:728’de Tibet’te düzenlenen Uluslararası Tıp Konferansı’nın katılımcıları arasında en az bir Türk hekim bulunmaktadır.Türk tıbbı, Tibet’e komşu yerleşik tıp gelenekleri arasında sayılmaktadır.Türk hekimler tarafından yazıldığı bilinen bazı tıp kitapları vardır.Türk devletlerinin, tanı ya da tedavi uygulamalarında başarılı oldukları bilinen alanlar vardır.Tibetliler, Türklerin uyguladığı (ya da uygulamada başarılı oldukları bilinen) bazı tedavi yöntemlerini benimseyip, kendi uygulamalarına dahil etmişlerdir.Türklerin (Gök-Türkler) tıpla tanışması hekim Biguta ile, Karlukların tıpla tanışması ise hekim Harina ile olmuştur

Central Asian Turkish Medicine in Tibetan Medicine Sources

Öz

Abstract The history of the Tibetan Medicine dates back to 7th century AD. The main sources that had an impact on Tibetan Medicine before 13th century AD were India, China and the West. However, Central Asian Medicine also had an intense interaction with Tibetan Medicine. It was noted that early Tibetan Medicine sources have contained some information of medicine in Central Asian Turkish states. It was seen that three different words were used to describe Turks in these texts: : Drugu (Turk), Hor (Uyghur) and Garlok (Qarluq). What we learn about Turkish medicine from Tibetan medical texts is as below: -At least one Turkish physician was among the participitants of International Medical Conference that was held in Tibet in 728 AD. -Turkish medicine was one of the established medical traditions neighboring to Tibet. -There were several medical textbooks written by Turkish physicians. -There were some diagnositic or therapeutic specialities in which Turkish states were good. -Tibetans have accepted and used some therapeutic methods which were used by Turks. -Medicine was introduced to Turks (i.e. Kok-Turks) by physician Biguta while it was introduced to Qarluqs by physician Harina.
