Anatomi Tiyatrolarından Galerilere Beden

Öz

Beden, insanoğlunun ölümden sonra yeniden dirilme inancıyla bütünlüğünün korunduğu, diğer taraftan da meraktan ve bilme isteğinden dolayı araştırma konusu bir varlık olmuştur. Mumyalama, rahat taşınabilmesi ve gömülebilmesi için parçalara ayrılması, ölüm sebebinin öğrenilmesi amacıyla açılması (otopsi) dışında müdahale edilmeyen beden, ArapYunan tıbbının etkisiyle -anatominin tıbbın temeli olduğu düşünceleri- 12. yüzyıldan itibaren Ortaçağ Avrupası’nda araştırılmaya başlanmıştır. Daha sonraki dönemlerde hekim ve ressamlar aracılığıyla resmedilen anatomik çalışmalar hem o dönem tıp eğitiminin temelini oluşturmuş hem de bu araştırmaların yapıldığını gösteren tarihi belgeler olarak günümüze kadar gelmiştir. 16. yüzyıla gelindiğinde ise bedenin keşfedilmesi ve bilginin toplumla paylaşılabilmesi amacıyla -ilk olarak 1584’te Padova’da- kalıcı anatomi tiyatroları inşa edilmiş ancak ölüm sebebini öğrenme ve insanı tedavi etme, toplumu bilgilendirme amacıyla anatomi tiyatrolarında bedenlerin sergilenmesi yerini günümüzde gelişen teknolojiye rağmen bedenin öğrenilmesi -kas, iskelet yapısı, organlar- söylemiyle gönüllülerden ya da hastanelerden alınan sahipsiz bedenlerin plastinasyonla galerilerde sergilenmesine bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada, bilme isteğinden nesneleştirmeye uzanan bedenin izlenme süreci görsel belgelerle sunulmaya çalışılacaktır

Body: From Anatomical Theatres To Galeries

Öz

Abstract Because of curiosity and willingness of knowledge, body is a research base entity, of which unity has been saved with the human belief of resurrection. The body, which cannot be intervened, except mummifying, breaking the body to pieces for carrying and burying it easily, holding a post mortem for knowing the reason of death, with the influence of Arabic-Greek Medicine-thoughts of anatomy is the basis of medicine- , has started to be researched from 12th century in Medieval Europe. In the later periods, anatomic works that was painted by the doctors and artists became the basis of education of medicine and has come to these days as a historical documents showing that it was researched at that time. In the 16th century, for discovering the body and sharing the knowledge with the society, permanent anatomical theatre was built firstly in Padova in 1584, but for learning the body- muscle, skeleton and organs- instead of exhibiting the bodies, today despite the developing technology, volunteers bodies’ or the unowned bodies’ plastinations becomes to be exhibited in galleries. In this study, the process of the searching the body that lying from willingness to making it an object, will be tried to present with visual documents.
