Biyomimetrik Yapı Malzemeleri ile Post Pandemik Döneme Uygun İç Mekanlar Tasarlanması

Öz

Post pandemi sürecinde, yeni normallerle birlikte yeni yaşam biçimleri büyük değişimler getirmiştir. Salgın, insanları çoğu alanda etkilerken, insanların mekanları kullanım şekillerini de değişmiştir ve tasarımcılar doğanın parçası olan mekanlar tasarlamalıdır. Biyomimikri, doğanın zaman içinde test ettiği modelleri ve stratejileri taklit ederek, insanların sürdürülebilir çözümler arayan, problemlerine çözümler sunan inovatif bir yaklaşımdır. Bu yaklaşımla, doğal malzemelerin sırlarını çözerek, sentetik ve çevre dostu malzemelerin gelişmiş özelliklerine sahip tasarımlar yapılabilir. Post pandemi döneminde, insanların doğadan kopması sebebiyle, iç mekan ve donatı tasarımlarında insan-doğa ilişkisi yeniden ele alınmalıdır. Doğal ve biyomimetrik yapı malzemeleri ve sürdürülebilirlik tüm mekanlarda uygulanmalıdır. Bu çalışma, post pandemi döneminde iç mekanda malzeme kullanım ölçütleri baz alınarak seçilen biyomimetrik yapı malzemeleri ile, yeni tasarlanacak iç mekanların yaratım sürecini değiştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, çoklu durum analizi ile biyomimetrik yapı malzemeleri belirlenerek, iç mekanlarda bu malzemelerin kullanım ölçütleri karşılaştırmalı analiz yöntemi ile tespit edilmiştir.

Designing Interior Spaces Suitable for Post-Pandemic Period With Biomimetic Structural Materials

Öz

In the post-pandemic period, new lifestyles brought about significant changes along with new norms. While the epidemic affected most aspects of people's lives, it also changed the way spaces are used, and designers should create spaces that are a part of nature. Biomimicry is an innovative approach that mimics the models and strategies tested by nature over time, providing sustainable solutions to problems that people seek solutions for. With this approach, designs can be created with synthetic and environmentally friendly materials that unlock the secrets of natural materials. In the post-pandemic period, the relationship between humans and nature should be reconsidered in interior design and equipment due to people's detachment from nature. Natural and biomimetic structural materials and sustainability should be applied in all spaces. This study aims to change the process of creating newly designed interior spaces by selecting biomimetic structural materials based on the criteria for material use in the post-pandemic interior. The study determined the usage criteria of biomimetic structural materials in interior spaces through comparative analysis using multiple case analyses.
