The architecture-construction sector has been undergoing a great transformation, especially in the last ten years, with the effect of Industry 4.0 and current technologies. In the continuation of these developments, the concept of Construction 4.0 was formed and it is in a position to guide the sector. Current research shows that digital technologies will play an increasingly active role in the architecture-construction industry. The expectation of the industry from professionals is that they have the appropriate competence, knowledge and skills for this digital transformation. In this context, architectural education is expected to respond to current digitalization requirements. Within the scope of this study, a digital transformation model was developed by using virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and building information modeling (BIM) applications in building courses, and this model applied to the courses Building Technologies, Building Construction Project and Construction Management &Economics in the academic years of 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. This model refers to the reconsideration of the building-construction curriculum in the digital transformation process in a holistic way, rather than using only a software for a course. Thus, it is aimed to perceive the building design and implementation decisions in the second, third and fourth dimensions and to establish a cost-time link. As a result, this model offers a learning environment based on the integration of BIM with VR-AR by increasing the interaction and experience level of students. In addition, as a result of practicing the model with students, it was observed that the difficulties in designing building elements and understanding details in construction courses were overcome.
