Öz

Bu çalışmada, Rekabet İstihbaratı uygulamalarında yapay zekanın kullanımı üzerine yapılan çalışmaların haritasının çıkarılması hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmada, nicel veriler kapsamında, çağımızın en büyük buluşu olan yapay zekanın son yıllarda akademik yazında popüler olan rekabet istihbaratı uygulamalarına konu olmasına ilişkin yazının bibliyometrik analiz kullanılarak özetinin sistematik olarak araştırmacıların kullanımına sunulması ve konu ile ilgili trend çalışma alanları ve boşlukların tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Analizi verileri, Web of Science veri tabanında taranan ve 1992 – 2025 yılları arasında yayınlanmış makale türündeki eserlerin bibliyometrik özelliklerinden elde edilmiştir. Konu ile ilgili yapılan makale çalışmalarının yıllara göre dağılımı incelendiğinde, en çok yayının sırasıyla, 2024 yılında 113 adet, 2023 yılında 57 adet, 2025 yılında 51 adet, 2022 ve 2021 yıllarında 45’er adet , 2022 yılında 31 adet ve 2019 yılında 15 adet ve diğer diğer yıllarda 2’şer ve 1’ er adet olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Konu ile ilgili en fazla çalışma yapan araştırmacılar ise sırasıyla Nripendra P. Rana, Sheshadri Chatterjee, Md. Afnan Rahman ve Patrcik Van Esch olduğu görülmektedir. Konu ile ilgili en sık kullanılan anahtar sözlükler, 138 kez tekrar ile artificial intelligence (yapay zeka), 21 kez tekrar ile machine learning (makine öğrenmesi), 17 kez tekrar ile competitive intelligence (rekabet istihbaratı) 15 kez tekrar ile digital transformation (dijital dönüşüm) olarak gerçekleşmiştir.

Bibliometric analysis of research on the use of artificial intelligence in competitive intelligence with VOSViewer

Öz

In this study, it is aimed to map the studies on the use of artificial intelligence in Competitive Intelligence applications. In this study, within the scope of quantitative data, it is aimed to systematically present the summary of the literature on the subject of artificial intelligence, which is perhaps the greatest invention of our age, being the subject of competition intelligence applications, which have been popular in the academic literature in recent years, to the use of researchers using bibliometric analysis and to identify the trend areas and gaps related to the subject. The data of the analysis were obtained from the bibliometric properties of the works in the article type scanned in the Web of Science database and published between 1992 and 2025. When the distribution of article studies on the subject according to years is examined, the most publications were 113 in 2024, 57 in 2023, 51 in 2025, 45 each in 2022 and 2021, 31 in 202, 15 in 2019 and 2 and 1 each in other years. The researchers who conducted the most studies on the subject are Nripendra P. Rana, Sheshadri Chatterjee, Md. Afnan Rahman and Patrcik Van Esch, respectively. When the most frequently used keywords on the subject are analysed, it is seen that artificial intelligence with 138 repetitions, machine learning with 21 repetitions, competitive intelligence with 17 repetitions finally digital transformation with 15 repetitions.
