DETERMINATION OF ELASTICITY MODULES OF READY-MIXED CONCRETE PRODUCED IN NIGDE REGION

In this
study, compressive strengths and elasticity modulus of ready mixed concrete
produced in Niğde region were determined. The compressive strengths and
elasticity modulus of sixty cube specimens taken from ready mixed concrete of 5
different concrete classes were measured. In addition, unit volume weights and
ultrasonic values of each sample were measured. Experiments on 28 day and
one-year samples showed that the compressive strengths provided the boundary
conditions in TS 500, but the elasticity modulus was somewhat lower. In
addition, the results are compared with national and international standards.
