Öz

This research aims to investigate the mediating role of employee loyalty in the relationship between servant leadership and innovative behavior. It was conducted with 332 employees working in different units (hospital, administrative units, etc.) of the University of Health Sciences. The research used a questionnaire form as a data collection tool. The data collection process was carried out in January-May 2022. SPSS and SmartPLS package programs were used to analyze the data. The compiled data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability analysis, factor analysis, and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). As a result of the research, it was determined that servant leadership positively affected employee loyalty and the innovative behavior of the employee. In the proposed research model, employee loyalty positively affected innovative behavior, and the mediating role of employee loyalty was significant in the relationship between servant leadership and innovative behavior. This study emphasizes servant leadership's role in organizations that want to improve innovative work behavior. Since employee loyalty may encourage innovative behaviors, servant leadership practices that enhance employee loyalty are recommended to directors.

Hizmetkâr Liderlik ve Yenilikçi Davranış Arasındaki İlişkide Çalışan Sadakatinin Aracı Rolünün PLS-SEM ile İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, hizmetkâr liderlik ve yenilikçi davranış arasındaki ilişkide çalışan sadakatinin aracı rolünü incelemektir. Araştırma, Afyonkarahisar Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi’nin farklı birimlerinde (hastane, idari birimler vb.) görevli 332 çalışanla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket formu kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama süreci Ocak-Mayıs 2022 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS ve SmartPLS paket programları kullanılmıştır. Derlenen veriler, tanımlayıcı istatistikler, geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizi, faktör analizi ve kısmi en küçük kareler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi (KEKK-YEM) uygulanarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, hizmetkâr liderliğin çalışan sadakatini ve çalışanın yenilikçi davranışını pozitif olarak etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Önerilen araştırma modelinde, çalışan sadakatinin yenilikçi davranışı pozitif etkilediği ve hizmetkâr liderlik ile yenilikçi davranış arasındaki ilişkide çalışan sadakatinin aracı rolünün anlamlı olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu çalışma, yenilikçi iş davranışlarını geliştirmek isteyen örgütlere, hizmetkâr liderliğin rolünü vurgulamaktadır. Çalışan sadakati, yenilikçi davranışları teşvik edebileceği için, yöneticilere çalışan sadakatini geliştiren hizmetkâr liderlik uygulamaları önerilmektedir.
