AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ GENİŞLEMESİNİN TEORİZASYONU: ORTA VE DOĞU AVRUPA ÜLKELERİ ÖRNEĞİ

Öz

Sosyal Bilimler alanında gerçeğin tek bir gelenek, tek bir teori ile bütüncül bir biçimde açıklanabilmesi oldukça güçtür. Araştırmacılar tarafından ele alınan olgu, birçok farklı teori ile değerlendirilir, elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırılır, ulaşılan bulgular olgunun hangi açılardan ele alındığına bağlı olarak açıklama gücü en yüksek olan teorinin belirlenmesini sağlar. Buradan hareketle, bu çalışmanın amacı, Avrupa Birliği’nin Orta ve Doğu Avrupa Ülkeleri ile genişlemesinin neorealizm ve sistemik inşacılık teorileri ile analizini yapmaktır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, teoriler arasındaki farklılıklar temel alınarak, söz konusu teorilerin genişleme olgusunu açıklayıcı gücü değerlendirilmekte, Avrupa Birliği’nin genişleme politikasına ilişkin teorik bir çerçeve çizilmektedir.
