Öz
In this study, an âEducational Web-Based Tuition System for Personalized Educationâ was developed using artificial intelligence techniques and the rule-based presentation of information, a specialist system technique, in an effort to establish a productive and effective Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS), and minimize learning uncertainties. The application starts when the student registers with the system in order to meet their educational needs; a training program is prepared for the student, and the application ends when the prepared training program is followed and completed by the student. An 8-week application study was conducted on Software Engineering students from the Technology Faculty of Fırat University in order to investigate the effect the developed program has on the success and attitude of students; results concluded that when used together with conventional teaching, the private tuition web-based program has positive effects.

Bu çalışmada öğrenme belirsizliklerini en aza indirgeyip, verimli ve etkili bir zeki öğretim sistemi (ZÖS) oluşturmak amacıyla uzman sistem tekniklerinden bilginin kural tabanlı sunumu ve yapay zeka teknikleri kullanılarak âKişiye Özgü Öğretim İçin Eğitsel Web Tabanlı Öğretim Sistemiâ geliştirilmiştir. Uygulama, öğrencinin eğitim ihtiyacını karşılamak üzere sisteme başvurması ile başlayıp, öğrenci için bir eğitim içeriğin hazırlanması ve bu eğitimin öğrenci tarafından izlenip bitirilmesi ile sonuçlanır. Geliştirilen yazılımın öğrenci başarı ve tutumuna etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla Fırat Üniversitesi Teknoloji Fakültesi Yazılım Mühendisliği bölümündeki öğrenciler üzerinde 8 haftalık bir uygulama çalışması yapılmış ve kişiye özgü eğitsel web ortamının geleneksel ortam ile birlikte kullanıldığı zaman olumlu etkilerinin olduğunu göstermiştir.
