EVALUATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT APPROACHES OF THE BUILDING EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY WITH MODULAR CONSTRUCTION METHODS

In Canada for EXPO267; capacities of 158 residential areas have been constructed through modular box system. This new construction is a work put that will be told about for a long time in architectural history. Today, the modular box systems are being widely used in Europe, USA and Japan. This system is suitable if required high speed construction of different functional buildings such as residential, hotels, hostels, offices and schools. The system is on, can be constructed as opened, half-closed or closed units. Modular box system, a single module or a number of different alternatives to the planning module is formed with a different flexibility in planning and construction which allows quick production method. In this study, first of all, the development process of modular box system has been examined in an historical period. Accordingly, the system has been classified in terms of static and spatial characteristics, assembly method and the type of their uses. At the last part of this study, the samples which the modular box systems were applied, has been examined and presented.
MODÜLER YAPIM TEKNİĞİ İLE BİNA ETKİNLİĞİNİ VE VERİMLİLİĞİNİ GELİŞTİRME YAKLAŞIMININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ
Öz
Kanada`da EXPO`67 için 158 konut kapasiteli bir yerleşim alanı modüler kutu sistemli inşa edilerek mimarlık tarihinde uzun süre konuşulacak bir eser ortaya konulmuştur. Günümüzde, modüler kutu sistemler Avrupa, ABD ve Japonya`da yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Konut, otel, yurt, büro, okul gibi farklı fonksiyonlu yapıların hızlı üretilmesi istenildiği durumlar için uygun bir sistemdir. Sistem açık, yarı açık ve kapalı olarak inşa edilebilmektedir. Modüler kutu sistemler, tek bir modül ile veya birkaç farklı modül ile birlikte farklı planlama alternatifleri oluşturularak esnek planlamaya ve hızlı üretime imkan veren bir yapım yöntemidir. Bu çalışmada önce modüler kutu sistemlerin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki gelişimi incelenmiştir. Daha sonra sistem statik ve mekan özellikleri, montaj ve kullanım şekilleri bakımından sınıflandırılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda, modüler kutu sistemin uygulandığı örnekler incelenmiştir.
