THE PROBLEMS RELATED TO CLOTHS THAT ADOLESCENT GIRLS

Abstract

This research was planned and conducted in order to identify the factors effective in cloth selections of the adolescent girls between ages 13 and 17 and the problems they encounter with their cloths. The data obtained from the survey made with 307 adolescent girls pursuing their educations in Ankara city and between ages 13 and 17 and the sources related to the topic constitute the material of the research. In the results of the research, that the adolescent girls prefer ready-wear products as they like their designs, find high-quality and brandy cloths expensive, are unable to find cloths satisfying intended colors and designs on every occasions, most of them are not satisfies with embellishments used on the cloths, sizes of the cloths had been big at the first years of their adolescence and in the years following this problems began to disappear were determined.

ERGENLİK DÖNEMİNKİ KIZLARIN GİYSİLERİ İLE İLGİLİ PROBLEMLERİ

Öz

Bu araştırma, 13-17 yaş grubu ergen kızların giysi seçiminde etkili olan unsurları ve giysilerinde yaşadıkları problemleri belirlemek amacıyla planlanıp yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın materyalini, Ankara ilinde öğrenim gören 13-17 yaşları arasında ergenlik dönemindeki 307 kız öğrenciden anket yardımıyla elde edilen veriler ve konu ile ilgili kaynaklar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda ergenlik dönemindeki kızların modellerini beğendiği için hazır giyim ürünlerini tercih ettikleri, kaliteli ve markalı olan giysilerin pahalı olduklarını düşündükleri, her zaman istedikleri renk ve desende giysi bulamadıkları, büyük bir çoğunluğunun ise giysilerde kullanılan süslemelerden memnun olmadıkları, ergenlik döneminin ilk yıllarında giysilerin genişlik ölçülerinin bol geldiği, dönemin daha ileriki yıllarında ise bu sorunun ortadan kalkmaya başladığı belirlenmiştir.
