Öz

In this research, the effect of the computer-assisted music program used in the ear training courses on the course success of students receiving vocational music education was examined. In the context of the cause-effect relationship in the research, the experimental model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used within the control of the researcher. In the experimental study method process of the research, the pretest-posttest experimental trial model was used. In addition, the Ear Master music application software was used in the experimental process of the research. In the research, written and oral pretest-posttest method was applied. The study group consisted of a total of 26 participants. The participants were divided into two equal groups to form the experimental and control groups. While the control group of the research continued the normal course process, the experimental group was given training supported by the music practice software for four weeks in addition to the ordinary course process. In the pre-test-post-test process of the study, a ear training assessment test was conducted to determine the level of success of the participants. Statistical techniques such as t-tests with the SPSS software were used to analyze the data obtained in the study. As a result of the data obtained in the research, it was concluded that the use of Ear Master supported music practice software contributed to the course achievement of undergraduate students taking vocational music education in the ear training course at a high level, and there was an increase in the gains in this direction. According to the results of the study, the Ear Master music practice software supports the development of ear training literacy skills.
