Abstract
In the processes of alienation and reification, it is undervalued that communication is a social phenomenon. When individuals appear as mechanical elements of a widespread and intensive mass rather than an organic sociality, the humanistic nature of communication in sociopsychological dimensions, is shaded. A wide circle of critical theoreticians from Frankfurt School to Jean Baudrillard, have provided some foundations to us, in order to look at society, communication, culture, mass and ideology from an interrogating view. In this article, we will focus on that how the critical thoughts of mentioned theoreticians can be helpful for a sociological analysis on communication processes of contemporary society. If we can understand and analyze properly the fields where communication is born, produced and reproduced, a comprehensive research on socio-psychological dimensions of these processes would be possible
